Another option for cooking shrimp is stir-fry. With this type of frying, you will marinate the shrimp then add oil and flavor to simmer in a wok. After the flavors start to brown, you can add in the shrimp, adding in a coat of oil to fry. You will only do this for one minute and afterwards will add your sauce of preference over it. You will want to wait for one more minute for everything to set in, then you can serve.

For those that can’t get away from the grill, grilled shrimp is for you. All you have to do is pre-heat a grill, peel all of the shrimp out of the shells and skewer the shrimp. When the grill is hot, you can place the shrimp on the grill for one to two minutes for one side, marinading as the shrimp cooks.

If these options don’t sound appetizing, you can always go for a crunchy texture by brining the shrimp. Brining means that you will take out the moisture from the outer layer of the shrimp by adding salt into the shrimp, then letting the salt set in for a half hour to an hour. After it is brined, you can add in flavors and cook the shrimp with your preference, allowing for a spicy and flavorful taste.
